Your event organizer will share a link to the event page. This is a public page where you can see event details, available tickets, the schedule, and speakers. No Gythr account is needed to view the page or register.
Registering for an Event
A guide for attendees on how to register and get your QR code.
Finding the Event Page
Selecting a Ticket
On the event page, you'll see the available ticket types with their names, descriptions, and prices. Click Register (for free tickets) or Buy Ticket (for paid tickets) to begin.
If a ticket shows "Sold Out" or "Sales Ended", that option is no longer available. Some events offer waitlist spots — check with the organizer.
Filling Out the Registration Form
The registration form asks for your basic information — at minimum, your full name and email address. The organizer may have added custom questions like dietary preferences, company name, or T-shirt size.
Fill out all required fields (marked with an asterisk) and click Register or Continue to Payment.
Payment (Paid Tickets)
For paid tickets, you'll be redirected to a secure Stripe Checkout page. Enter your card details and complete the payment. Gythr never sees your card number — all payment processing happens through Stripe.
After payment, you'll be redirected back to the event site and see a confirmation page.
Your Confirmation Email
After registering, check your email for a confirmation message from Gythr. This email includes:
- Your QR code — used for check-in at the event
- Your registration details — name, ticket type, and confirmation code
- A link to look up your registration if you need to find it later
Pro tip
Save your confirmation email — it has your QR code for check-in. If you lose it, use the registration lookup page to retrieve it.
Looking Up Your Registration
Lost your confirmation email? Go to the event's registration lookup page and enter the email address you used to register. You'll see your registration details and QR code.
The lookup link is included in your confirmation email and is also accessible from the event page.
