Open Crew and start with Settings. Define your volunteer roles, decide whether applications are open, and choose whether to auto-approve applicants or review them yourself.
Set Up Crew in 5 Steps
Build your volunteer roster, schedule shifts, and run day-of operations from one live dashboard.
Step 1: Turn on Crew and set your roles
Step 2: Build your roster
Add volunteers to the Roster by importing a CSV or adding them individually. To let people sign themselves up, share your public Volunteers Board, a login-free page where volunteers apply for shifts.
Pro tip
Share the Volunteers Board link in your community channels ahead of the event to fill shifts before day-of.
Step 3: Create stations and shifts
In Shift Scheduling, create your stations (registration desk, room monitors, A/V) and the shifts each one needs. Add Room Assignments and day-of Tasks so everyone knows where to be and what to do.
Step 4: Fill your shifts
Publish shifts to the Marketplace so volunteers claim open slots from their phones, or let the AI Schedule Assistant generate an optimized schedule you can adjust from there.
Step 5: Run day-of
On event day, live in the Operations Dashboard: real-time station staffing, check-in status, upcoming shifts, and overdue tasks. Staff and team leads get an expanded view where they can check people in and cover gaps as they happen.
