Click Lobby in the sidebar under the Build section. Lobby is where you add the information attendees need — Wi-Fi, parking, venue details, and more. Published sections appear in the Info tab of Gythr Here, your attendees' mobile app. (Lobby is also home to your Event FAQs — see the separate guide.)
Setting Up Event Info (Lobby)
Publish Wi-Fi, parking, venue, and other details to the Info tab in Gythr Here.
What Lobby Is
Adding a Section
Click Add Section and pick a Section Type. There are ready-made types — WiFi, Parking, Venue Info, Getting There, Emergency Info, Code of Conduct, Social Media, Food & Drink, Accessibility, Contact — plus a Custom Section for anything else. Each type has its own icon in the app, and picking one pre-fills the title.
Then fill in:
- Title — the section heading (e.g. "WiFi Information")
- Content — the details. Any URLs are automatically linked for attendees, and line breaks are kept.
Pro tip
Write content as plain text — there's no need for formatting. Paste a full https:// link and Gythr turns it into a tappable link in the app.
Timing & Ticket Visibility
Two optional controls decide when and who sees a section:
- Visible from / Visible until — schedule a window. Leave blank to show it always, or set dates to reveal day-of details at the right moment. Timed sections get a Timed badge in the list.
- Visible to — restrict the section to specific ticket types. Leave it empty for all attendees, or select tiers so only, say, VIP or all-access holders see the lounge directions or after-party access.
Pro tip
Use a timed section for things attendees only need on the day — like 'Doors & coat check' — so your Info tab isn't cluttered weeks ahead.
Publishing & Display
New sections start as Draft (hidden). When one's ready, click the eye icon on its row to Publish it — only published sections reach attendees. Reorder sections with the up/down arrows, and edit or delete from the row.
Use the event-wide Default display toggle — All Open (sections expanded) or All Closed (titles only, tap to expand) — to control how the Info tab first appears.
