Link

Networking

Link is where attendees find each other, take notes on the conversations that matter, and actually follow up after the event. No AI matchmaker playing fortune teller. Just a cleaner way to meet the right people and stay in touch.

The Problem

Most "networking" at events is just hoping the right person walks by.

You meet someone great at the coffee station. You exchange business cards or scan a QR code. You say "let's grab coffee next week." You mean it. Then the event ends, you fly home, your inbox explodes, and by Friday you can't remember which person was the one who mentioned the partnership opportunity and which one was just being polite.

The conversations happened. The follow-up didn't. All the value evaporated in the 48 hours after the event.

Attendee lists are just names with no context on who's worth meeting

The conversations attendees DO have disappear into memory by Monday

Nobody follows up after the event, so 90% of networking value is lost

How Link Works

Profiles, connections, notes, and follow-ups. The full networking lifecycle in one module.

01

Show up as yourself

Attendees create a profile with their bio, interests, and what they're hoping to get out of the event. They choose whether to appear in the directory. Nothing is public by default. Nothing happens without opt-in.

02

Find your people

Search the attendee directory by name, company, interests, or anything else. No AI telling you who to meet. You decide who matters. You send a connection request. They accept or they don't.

03

Take notes that actually help

After you meet someone, jot a note on their profile right inside Link. What did you talk about? What did you promise each other? What do you want to follow up on? The notes stay private to you.

04

Follow up like a human

After the event, Link uses your notes to draft a personalized LinkedIn message for every person you met. Not generic "great meeting you at [event]" spam. Real messages based on the actual conversation you had. You review, edit, copy, and send. Link takes you straight to their LinkedIn profile.

We built Link because the problem with event networking isn't meeting people. It's remembering them on Tuesday.

Every other event networking tool tries to solve "who should you meet?" with an AI matchmaker. We think that's the wrong problem. The right problem is: you met the right people already. You just can't remember the details by the time you're back at your desk. Link is a notebook that writes your follow-up messages for you.

Everything Link Can Do

01

Attendee profiles

Bio, interests, goals, social links. Attendees control their own profile and decide whether to appear in the directory.

02

Opt-in directory

Searchable attendee directory with filters. Attendees opt in individually. No scraping, no default visibility.

03

Connection requests

Send and accept connection requests inside Gythr Here. Simple, respectful, mutual.

04

Connection notes

Take private notes on every connection directly inside Link. Capture what you talked about and what you want to follow up on, while it's fresh.

05

AI-drafted follow-ups

After the event, Link uses your notes to draft personalized LinkedIn messages for every connection you made. You review, edit, and send on your own timeline.

06

Direct LinkedIn handoff

Every AI-drafted message comes with a direct link to the person's LinkedIn profile. One click from draft to sent.

What's on the roadmap

Link v1 is intentionally focused on the one thing most networking tools get wrong: the follow-up. Additional features rolling out through 2026 include in-app messaging between connected attendees, meeting scheduling with calendar integration, interest-based groups, and a networking activity feed.

If you're evaluating Gythr and one of these features is critical to your event, email rebecca@gythr.com. We prioritize our roadmap based on what design partners tell us matters most.

Built for community-driven events.

Link is a good fit for any conference, but it's built for the events whose entire value is connections: community conferences, industry meetups, founder events, trade associations, and the kinds of gatherings where people come primarily to meet each other.

If your event's brand is built on "who you'll meet in the room," Link is how you prove the room was worth showing up for.

Connected Modules

Link is an entirely attendee-facing module. Every profile, connection, note, and follow-up lives inside the Gythr Here attendee app. There's no separate login, no desktop admin panel for networking, and no organizer dashboard for managing connections, because the network belongs to the attendees, not the organizer.

Gythr Here

Link is where networking lives inside the attendee app. Profiles, directory, connections, notes, and follow-ups all happen in Gythr Here.

Gate

Registration data feeds the initial attendee profile. When someone registers, they're ready to network the moment they open Gythr Here.

Agenda

Attendees you meet during a session are easier to remember because Link can link a note to the session where you met.

Signal

Aggregated, anonymized networking metrics (connection counts, directory activity) flow into Signal so organizers can see how much networking happened without ever seeing the content of individual connections.

Link is included in Pro and Business+.

Link ships with Pro and Business+ subscriptions. Unlimited attendee profiles, unlimited connections, unlimited notes, unlimited AI-drafted follow-ups. No per-connection fees. No caps.
