Selling Passports (multi-event bundles)

Bundle tickets across several events into one purchase, sold from a branded storefront.

1

What Passports Are

A Passport is one ticket that gets a buyer into several of your events. Instead of buying each event separately, they make a single purchase and Gythr creates a ticket for every event in the bundle automatically. Passports are made for a conference week, a multi-day series, or a season pass.

Passports live inside an Event Group, a collection of your events with its own public storefront. Open Event Groups from your dashboard to start.

Step 1: Create an Event Group

An Event Group is the home for the events you want to bundle. Create one, give it a name and a page link, and add the events that belong together (you need at least two). You can brand the storefront with a hero image, a tagline, a short about section, and a featured Passport. The storefront is public at /g/your-link.

Step 2: Create a Passport

Inside the group, click New Passport and set:

  • Name, description, and "what's included" so buyers know exactly what they get.
  • Base price, with optional pricing phases for early bird, standard, and VIP windows.
  • Inventory cap (optional) so a Passport never oversells.
  • Included tickets: pick one ticket type from each event in the bundle (two or more events).

Pro tip

Set the Passport to Active when you're ready to sell. Draft and Paused keep it off the storefront while you finish setting up.

Revenue splits

One Passport purchase is divided across the events it covers, so each event gets credited fairly. Choose how:

  • By listed price (recommended): each event's share matches its normal ticket price.
  • Even split: divided equally across the events.

Gythr shows a live attribution preview as you build, so you can see what each event earns before you publish.

What Your Buyers Experience

On the storefront, a buyer picks a Passport and checks out once through Stripe. The moment they pay, Gythr creates a separate ticket and QR code for every event in the bundle and emails a receipt with links to each one. From any one of their tickets, a banner shows the rest of their lineup so they can jump to the next event. Refunds and transfers move the whole bundle together.

Important

Passports need Stripe connected for your organization, just like regular ticket sales.
